| Former footballer: Essau Black Mamba Kanyenda |
Former Malawi football national team and Mighty Wanderers FC striker, Essau Kanyenda, has fault Super League of Malawi leadership for match fixing.
The UK based football maestro expressed his views through his social media platforms. He said that the football governing body is deliberately messing up the fixtures in order to favour their favourite teams.
"Wanderers and Silver are playing on Wednesday while Bullets is playing on Thursday. Isn't this kind of fixture set up not going to ruin our beautiful game?" Said the Black Mamba.
Mighty Wanderers, Silver Strikers, and Nyasa Big Bullets are all competing for top spot, and are being separated by the thinnest margins.
Kanyenda further asked why, among some clubs like Silver Strikers and Mighty Wanderers, are two games behind while their opponents are given fixtures without problems.
These sentiments come amid strong speculations that the football governing bodies in the country including Football Association of Malawi, SULOM and the Referees Association work in favour of Nyasa Big Bullets who have been dominating football in Malawi for ages.
