Multi award winning Malawian digital payments company, PayChangu, has expressed commitment to continue delivering solutions that uplift communities, empower businesses and expand access to essential digital services for Malawians.
It also says the compan, which has recently been recognized as the Best SME of the Year and Technology and Innovation SME of the year under Phuka awards, seeks to shape a more inclusive and digitally empowered Malawi.
PayChangu Chief Executive Officer Joshua Mwendo says the recognition demonstrates the trust individuals and institutions have in the company's products such as Ulinzingati E-ticketing platform and the USSD- powered solar payments system which he said are making huge impact.
"Our innovations drive financial inclusion, notably through a USSD-powered solar payments system that enables rural communities to access clean energy via simple mobile transactions, without needing internet," said Mwendo in a statement.
The Phuka awards were organised by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Corporation and Standard Bank.
