Fast-rising Afro-pop act Eli Njuchi is back on his successful run this year with a second song titled "Bodza".
"Bodza" was released yesterday on Monday, 4th July. It was premiered on Malawi's biggest music show, Made On Monday with DJ Joy Nathu.
The song talks about how people have normalized lies in day to day life activities. It exposes how as a society, we are building our life styles on social media lies.
It also narrates how married couples feed each other with lies by missaving contacts of their side lovers in phones. The husband saves his side chick as 'champions league' while the wife saves her side guy as 'wakugulu'.
The song also mentions politicians. It clarifies that politicians are special liars. Top notch liars who have been lying to Malawians since ever. They sell us dreams.
'Kuja (politicians) ndikuchimake kwa zonsezi', sings Eli in the first verse of the song.
The song was released under Elination entertainment and it was produced by Sispence.
