Martse's Death Remains A Mystery

After a month since the mysterious death of Mwano crooner,  Martse, the Malawi Police Service says it is still investigating events that led to the demise of the rapper.

Speaking to media, the deputy spokesperson for the service, Harry Namwaza stressed that the investigations  are going on smoothly.

The rapper died three days after celebrating his 28th at QUECH in Blantyre after battling with fire burns that he sustained in Mangochi after the house he slept in caught fire as reported by multiple sources.

Uchizi Nkhata, a family representative told the thousands of people that gathered at Civo Stadium  during the funeral service that  Martin Nkhata Jr, decorated as Martse was on a birthday vacation in Mangochi where he mate the fate.


"During the night, he went to the living room to charge his phone. It was when the fire started and together with other friends they managed to get out. But Martse went back to the house where he got burnt." Said Uchizi Nkhata.

Few minutes later, the statement got rubbished by tourism minister, Micheal Utsi, who said the statement was confusing. 

Utsi demanded the police to go into deep investigations to dig what really happened for the Mkatimo architect to get excessive burns. 

Namwaza has, assured general public that his service will illuminate the country to what really happened to "Mtumbuka Osamba".
