thu Foundation, a non-governmental organisational based in Karonga, has stressed that it is important to keep the surroundings clean.
Chithu Foundation executive director, David Mponela, said in an interview with MalawiHeat.com that with pollution of the environment being one of our major challenges, it is imperative that we get 'a bit smarter with our environment.'
Said Mponela: 'As a country, we are in a fix. We either maintain discipline with our environment or pollute ourselves.'
He said as something to start with they will help with cleaning up schools within Karonga district.
Chithu Foundation is an organisation that focuses on environmental smartness.
