Malawi Model Tadala Chafumbwa Reveals Breast Cancer Diagnosis

As most of us are aware, the month of October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month worldwide.  What is Breat Cancer you may ask? Breast cancer is cancer that starts in the tissues of the breast. There are two main types of breast cancer: Ductal carcinoma starts in the tubes (ducts) that move milk from the breast to the nipple. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide. We are so sad to report that MpEmodelz' very own model Tadala Chafumbwa, at just 23 has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  Malawi Heat had a chance to talk with the model and this is what she had to say:
"Yes I am fighting breast cancer. I am on chemotherapy and trust me, it is very hard.  I have lost all of my hair, my eyebrows are gone, so i have no choice but to use an eyeliner. my skin colour has completely changed, in 3 weeks, I am only myself in 1 week, the rest I am down. my immune system is compromised. i cant do any of the things I used to do. The hardest part is when I think of whats coming next, when the chemotherapy pain is over. They told me they have to cut my breast. At my age, there is a high chance of re-occurrence, so they say.."

Tadala was diagnosed early in August of 2014. She continues her fight with cancer, and is not planning on giving up any time soon. She is a fighter, and she hopes the battle will be over soon. Her last chemotherapy session is on the 17th of December, which she will have another rest and see if the cancer has cleared. She is asking her family, friends and fans to have her in their prayers.

Get well soon, Tadala!
