Business tycoon and Wanderers Football Club president, Thom Mpinganjira, has stepped up to meet all the costs in repatriation of the remains of former Flames and Wenderers footballer from the UK for burial in Malawi.
Kanyenda, who helped Wanderers to win its last league title in 2017, passed away on December 1, 2025, after a battle with liver cancer in the UK where he was residing with his family.
Malawi Heat understands that all the steps to bring the body of Black Mamba back home have already been taken, with the official communications from the family to follow shortly.
