US-based Chawezi Sibongile Banda, well-known as Chacha in social media circles, has engaged an extra gear at her generosity following an announcement that she will now start supporting upcoming talent in the country.

I will support her - Chacha |
Chacha, daughter of Malawi’s former finance minister, the
late Aleke Kadonamphani Banda, disclosed on Friday that she will begin the initiative
by supporting trending 14-year-old comedian, Ndaziona, from Chirimba in
Blantyre in her education.
“From now onwards, I have decided to be assisting young
comedian, Ndaziona, with her education. I feel that it is proper if I send her
to a boarding school, where I will be providing all the support,” posted Chacha
on her Facebook page.
According to Chacha, good education would help nurture
Ndaziona—in Standard Seven—into a formidable artist.
“Talent without good education can sometimes deter one from
reaching their utmost potential,” she said.
This is not the first time that Chacha has let out her
giving hand to those in need. Last month, Banda also adopted a girl from Mwanza
Secondary School where she is paying for her tuition and other essential school
needs.
In her response, Ndaziona expressed her gratitude saying it
is a dream come true.
“I promise to work hard,” she said.
Despite being renowned for her opulence and flashy lifestyle,
Chacha has time and again come out to support the underprivileged.
Last year, she cancelled her 49th birthday party that was
scheduled to take place in Lilongwe in order to assist families affected by
hunger in the country.
She donated 50 bags of maize flour weighing 20 kilograms
each to the elderly, widows and people with disabilities in the area of Senior
Chief Kauma in Lilongwe.
