There were jubilations and ululations in T/A Ngomano's area as over 3,000 households received a donation of 50kg bag of maize each in Thyolo District.
The mastermind behind the donation, Apostle Clifford Kawinga, who is also the founder of Salvation for all ministries, said it was eminent to embark on this exercise considering the recent economic crisis that has affected most parts of the country and other parts of the world.
"We are going through a lot as a country and also at a global level, due to global economic crisis, it is therefore our responsibility as Christians to also take part in filling the gaps, said Kawinga".
On his part T/A Ngomano, real name, Latsom Thomson, who also graced the event, expressed gladness following the donation, saying its a first of it's kind in his 30 year reign as a Chief.
Some items distributed during the event include; Bibles, bread and drinks.
The overall budget for the whole donation exercise in Thyolo costs K40 million.
The ministry is expected to continue with the donation program in Chikhwawa and Phalombe districts.
