Nyali Muzik rap group affiliate, Naffe, has reappered out of an early retirement by recording   his single: "Statement" which will be released on  December 16 as a year wrap gift to his listeners who nearly ruled out his return to music forward to his return.

His debut mixtape " Yoo Woborna Volume 1" released in 2011 is listed as one of the classic gospel rap compilations in Malawi. The Lilongwe based rapper who is now active under Brothers Keeper and Above Only Worldwide records says the single is a socio-faith song as it tackles various issues of  corruption, addictions as well as  girl child safety concerns with faith and hope in God for a better  tomorrow. The single has been recorded at SOE records by Sir Odillo and features production credits  from Spectrum Radar.

Naffe Bounces Back From Music Retirement

"The Single is fitly titled Statement because it is responding to some of the main issues that have affected Malawi both on a national and individual level in  2022 while offering hope and faith in God as the way out"

Before Nyali Muzik, the artist was part of the Unima campus based Music Group KMT together with Khetwayo and Rev. Madovatt. Over the years, the artist  has worked with various other artists including: Pro Gain, KBG, Khetwayo David Kalilani and Double Zee among others. Locally, his music has been influenced by both  traditional and urban gospel artists like Grace Chinga, Apostle Chitheka, Faith Mussa and Kelvin Sings.

The song will be available on popular local and international  streaming and downloading platforms under the Above Only Worldwide Records imprint.
