In a dramatic twist of events, it has been leant that speculations about Eisenhower Mkaka's involvement in Zuneth Sattar's corruption syndicate is just a smear campaign to turnish his image, this Publication has established.
Ealier on Friday, Mkaka who is the Minister of Natural Resources and as well Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General was rumored to having been gifted a Mercedes Benz by Sattar.
But our investigations on the matter reveal the motor vehicle was legally bought and cleared on Duty Free as all MPs and Cabinet Ministers are entitled to.
On a Document issued by the Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) dated July 22nd, 2020, titled _Purchase of a Duty Free Motor Vehicle Mercedez Benz Chasis Number WD02221322A338705 For Hon. Eisenhower Mkaka be(MP)_ seen by this Publication, the tax collector expressed knowledge of the deal hence no foul play is suspected.
The Document was aimed at conveying the protocol to the Commissioner General of the tax collecting body.
