Organizers of 'Christmas with the stars' festival, the Black Rhino entertainment, managed by Tay Grin, have said preps for the event slated for Saturday, December 25 are advancing well despite other trivial hitches.
The festival to be hosted at Lilongwe golf club from 10AM on Christmas day has pulled in almost all local established artists including Patience Namadingo, Piksy, Phyzo and Hyphen, besides Fredokiss who has pulled out of the list.
When we went to press, organisers of the event declined to comment on the development but only urged Malawians to patronize the show which has been pegged to a minimum charge of MK2000.
In confirming his recusal from the show, Fredokiss, real name, Penjani Kaluwa, posted on his Facebook page that he may have been included on the list of supporting artist by mistake.

"I'll not be part of the event. But if you find it worth, you can go and have fun," read his post in part.
Kalua who recently has been trending for being flamboyant by saying he is not active in music because he is busy making money is said to have amassed alot of worth over time.
Reports reaching us show that he has money that has afforded him to buy two brand new aristocratic cars including a Range Rover.
"Maybe that is why he has turned down the show. Paja akuti he is busy making money," reacted one of his fan on Facebook.
