Bucci shines at Lake of stars Blantyre Launch

Blantyre based R’n’b artist, Bucci was a marvel to watch at the Lake of Stars launch in Blantyre at Mibawa cafe’ with his live performance.

Bucci changed the tune from R’n’ b to Reggae dance hall. -

The show reached its climax as the artist performed a cover of Jamaican Reggae dancehall artist” Dreams of Brighter Days” by Busy signal which he blended it with Ndima Pachulu, a thing that took most of the audience to the dancing flow.

Then the artist sang his latest track ” Malungo”, closing his session with a cover of the legendary Bob Marley”Dont worry”.

During the show, various people expressed there mixed reactions over the artist performance by singing cover songs on his set as others felt betrayed.

But according to the Lake of stars director, Will Jameson and Kimpho Loka said that there was nothing wrong with the artist playing cover tracks, this simply shows how talented the artist is. ”

 There is no problem because he also sing his own songs. It could have been different if he did not perform his songs” Jameson said He further added that the artist showed how talented he is, when he blended his songs with the cover songs.

The artist is currently signed to ” Ndefeyo” Entertainment who is managed by the duo of Biriwiri crew.
