Maskal
has announced that he will release his third album in July. He made the
revelation at Mibawa Café in the commercial capital Blantyre where he performed
on 3rd March – Malawi’s Freedom Day.
“I have not yet named the album, I will name it once I finalise everything. These days piracy has grown so big such that you need to be careful when working on your songs. I remember there was a time I released songs like ‘Zili Ndi Iwe,’ and some people were all over pirating some of my songs and started calling the album ‘Zili Ndi Iwe’ and yet this album was Umunthu,”
he was quoted as saying by The Daily Times.
