The 24-year-old’s latest offing comes a month after releasing ‘We Will’ which he featured several artists from around Africa, namely Zimbabwe, Zambia, Lesotho, Namibia, Swaziland and Botswana. ‘We Will’ was released on the 25th of December, 2014 as a Christmas offing to his fans.
The new song ‘Finish Line’, carries a huge message on unity which apart from the song lyrics, is being portrayed by the collaboration of the artists themselves, which consists of Jay Rox of Zone Fam from Zambia and Zeus from Bostwana, the song also addresses issues of success, especially how success brings pain due to the thing one has to go through in order to succeed.
But apart from the messages in the song, what also stands out in this song, is the production. It is a fresh production, original and does not sound like your regular Malawian music
The production of ‘Finish Line’ was handled by BFB of Exclusive Productions and Janta of SU Records.
‘Finish Line’ is Gwamba first song released in 2015.
