Global Health Corps is a community of emerging leaders united by the belief that real progress in global health requires the skills and passion of a diverse community of talented individuals. The Global Health Corps fellowship program pairs young professionals with healthcare organizations seeking new thinking and innovative solutions in East/Southern Africa and the United States. We have 13 fellowship positions available for Malawians in Malawi, and 13 positions available for Americans in Malawi. We are actively looking for talented young leaders from all sectors and backgrounds to fill those positions.
The fellowship begins in July 2015 and extends through August 2016. Fellows engage in professional development training, mentorship and thoughtful community-building, and continue to draw upon their fellowship experience and the GHC alumni network as they build careers of lasting impact.
Fellows receive a monthly living stipend ($650 USD or kwacha equivalent), housing or a housing allowance, health insurance, a professional development grant ($600 USD or kwacha equivalent), a completion award ($1500 USD or kwacha equivalent), and travel to all of the leadership development trainings and retreats GHC provides.
