RnB superstar Dali formerly ‘Tech Dali’ surprised not just his fans, but the music industry with not only  news about an upcoming album and cover, but by unleashing the first single and video of the new campaign as well, all in the span of half an hour.
The single is the first track that has been officially released ahead of the singer's new album which will be released soon on a date to be announced, according to the star’s manager Ben sam Entertainment.
The video, directed by Ben edict of Bensam Entertainment (who is also directing rapper Martse’s upcoming video for “Mwapindulanji” which is expected to be premiered soon), matches the mood of the tune, with a lot of negative space and some ominous scenes. Enjoy its subtle spookiness below.
The new song ‘Nyamulira’ has already received some rave reviews from critics who have described it as a new, more mature sound for the singer.

Dali has collaborated with a massive 5 different artists on this upcoming album - and with that much input from musicians including talks with Zambia’s hip-hop group Zone Fam, Malawi’s dancehall artist Blaze and Afro-pop superstar Dan Lu. Dali’s upcoming album promises fireworks, with his typically powerful vocals and voice acrobatics, we're expecting big things from the singer.

Mixing a bit of local with a touch a afro-pop/rock and then pouring in a ton of RnB, "Nyamulira" could be one of Dali's best songs yet. As creative as it is exuberant, this song delivers a unique style, and it proves that no matter how long you've been doing something, you can still grow and surprise people with new twists and turns. If you've been thinking that Michael W. Smith is just for the younger crowd, it's seriously time to rethink your position.

We have to admit, the song is catchy - and if his recent success with “Sindikusiyasiya” was anything to go by, Dali could be in for a very big win this year.
