GO WELL- A poem by Weston Bello

GO WELL

(by Weston Bello)

Through the mist and clouds
Hand in hand,
We sailed
One song in mind,
Like flying birds we tilted to the shores,
Vomited our throats to the seas,
And found we comfort under umbrella trees

Rode we through the beautiful garden flowers,
Hearts in bond,
Souls in same tides
Our lungs sniffing the rosy fragrance,
Our lips whispering happiness to the wind

Rose you to new heights,
Alone soul engulfed by pride,
Remained I by your side,
Nursing my wounds as I
Watched you depart
Go well my friend,
Find what you desire most,
Don’t worry about me
Loneliness never slays the throat
