Gwamba Gets Upset With Football Association (FAM) and National Coach Mario Marinica




Philanthropist and rapper, Gwamba has poured outrage towards football governing body in the country, FAM for spending a lot of resources on unproductive foreign coaches. According to Major 1 Records signee, local coaches are tactically good compared to expatriates that FAM hires.  

Gwamba’s sentiment comes in after a 2-0 loss that Malawi national team, The Flames suffered last night in the hands of Egypt in Cairo.

Flames conceded a first goal at 18th   minute, thanks to Liverpool’s all time goal scorer, Muhamad Salah.  This was due to poor communication of flames defenders.

On 46th minute, the Pharaohs of Egypt find their way to side of the net again courtesy of VfL Wolfsburg forward Omar Marmoush, a goal that a lot of fans blame Charles Thom’s lame goal keeping skills.

After the game, a lot of football fans back home, Gwamba included criticized coach Marinica for ill tactics he used to encounter the 7 times African Cup of Nations winners.

Kinnah Phiri and Meke Mwase are only coaches that qualified to AFCON with the flames, they are both indigenous.
