The former president of Malawi who is president of former ruling party DPP has assured Malawians that DPP will take government in 2025 considering the way Tonse alliance is leading the nation.
Munthalika said this in Mangochi District at St Augustine 3 school ground during a political rally organised by the party on Saturday.
Munthalika said that President Chakwela is ignorant of what he is doing hence puting the country in calamities. He therefore asked Chakwela government to call for a referendum.
According to Munthalika ,is only DPP administration which will effectively change things in Malawi.
The DPP leader also denied speculations that the party is still divided.Munthalika said that all officials are working together in preparation for the next elections.He disclosed that the National governing council of the party will meet early January 2023.
On possibility to run for the 2025 race Munthalika said that is still consulting and making good decisions on the matter.
