Comedian and actress, Ruth Simika known in entertainment circles as Mayi Asikono has landed an ambassadorship deal with US- based company called Ocean-Flo Life International Limited.
Company's management and Simika revealed about their partnership to media houses on Friday afternoon in Blantyre.
Managing Director for Ocean-Flo Life International Limited in the country, Lumuli Mwakasungula, cleared why his company raked in Simika. He said that the Tikuferani TV series actress has both influence and integrity.
Simika who has been vocal about lack of support to actors in the country advised fellow artist to be hardworkers and focused saying such recognitions don't come on a silver platter.
Ocean-Flow Life International Limited manufacturers and provides diet supliments.
