Eying Miss World - Chichi |
There is something unique about this teen aged up-and-coming
role model. She has got the guts. She is able to look someone in the eye, talk
about her fears, hopes and aspirations – just like that.
She is just her. She is Sarah Chichi Chiundiza – a Lilongwe based
model eying the Miss World crown.
The 18-year old, currently studying management at Exploits
University in Malawi’s capital Lilongwe, says her ambitions in modeling will
work out sooner than later. She is optimistic.
“First of all, I would like to change the negative perception
Malawians have towards modeling. Modeling is not for the morally corrupt. It is
for beauties with brains too,” she says, looking originally African.
She adds: “I would also like to have my own modeling outfit with
which I can work with fellow upcoming models, promote charity work and put
Malawian models on the world map by working with those who are internationally
known.”
Chichi, above all, says she wants to become Miss World.
The young girl – with stunning African looks – loves baking and gets
her inspiration from ex-Miss Malawi Faith Chibale on the local scene and Naomi
Campbell on the international scene – has also participated in several modeling
shows in Lilongwe.
